Job Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and evaluating new business opportunities within the biomedical sector, including hospitals, clinics, government projects, and private healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare sector to facilitate business development efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, regulatory, logistics) to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, pricing strategies, and contract terms.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the biomedical product portfolio, including technical specifications and clinical applications.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and project databases.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to help identify potential growth opportunities.
- Prepare and assist in the delivery of monthly business development reports, including client updates, sales pipeline, and revenue forecasts.
- Support internal and external product training and awareness sessions to enhance product understanding and value proposition.
- Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights with senior management.
- Support product presentations, demonstrations, and consultative sales discussions with clinical and procurement teams as needed.
- Support the development of market penetration strategies aligned with company goals and product roadmap.
- Track tender outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Achieving biomedical product sales targets through pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Assist in developing customized solutions and proposals tailored to client needs and technical specifications.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications
Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field.
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth.
- Willingness to travel as required by the job.
Experience
Minimum 7 years relevant experience
Education
- Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level
