Job Summary
The Business Development Representative generates new business opportunities by researching and engaging prospective customers.
The role converts outbound activity into qualified meetings for Outside Sales Representatives and is designed for high-volume prospecting and measurable goals.
The position is remote and available to candidates in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta.
Compensation
- OTE is CAD 50,000 to CAD 80,000, with a CAD 50,000 to CAD 60,000 base and uncapped commission.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify and research prospective customers within assigned markets and build targeted prospect lists.
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn, and approved sales tools.
- Engage decision-makers, uncover waste and recycling needs, and communicate the company value proposition.
- Qualify prospects and schedule qualified appointments for Outside Sales Representatives.
- Provide meeting handoffs, confirm appointments, and coordinate calendars to support show rates.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for calls, contacts, follow-ups, and next steps.
- Build a consistent pipeline through organized, multi-touch follow-up and disciplined prospecting.
