About the opportunity
Metcash is hiring a Business Development Representative for its Food Service and Convenience team.
The role manages the Metro Melbourne territory on a full-time permanent basis.
The position focuses on growing sales and margin performance across an established customer portfolio and securing new business opportunities.
Role responsibilities
- Grow sales, profitability, and customer engagement across the territory.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Build lasting relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Deliver promotional programs and category growth initiatives.
- Analyse sales data and customer insights to maximise opportunities.
- Maintain call cycles, planning, and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer outcomes.
