The Role
The Business Development Representative generates qualified sales opportunities for the Field sales team in the Middle East.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Development and works with regional sales and marketing teams.
The role combines inbound lead follow-up with outbound prospecting activities.
The representative gathers account intelligence and connects sales teams with influencers and decision makers.
The role supports an account-based sales strategy for the Middle East.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and convert initial interest into sales accepted leads.
- Gather intelligence on competition, projects, and purchase intent for assigned accounts.
- Manage email and cold-calling campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
- Track customer communications accurately in Salesforce.com.
- Schedule demonstrations between Commercial Sales team members and potential customers.
Qualifications
- Fluent Arabic and English language skills are required.
- Strong motivation, a competitive personality, and attention to detail are expected.
- Excellent phone, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills are required.
- Previous success in a goal-driven environment is preferred.
- Salesforce.com or other CRM experience is a bonus.
