Opportunity
Flywire is hiring a Business Development Representative for its growing Travel business and sales team.
The role is approximately 80% Business Development Representative work and 20% Account Executive work, including closing smaller targeted accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Use cold calling, email, and social media to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
- Manage inbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities for the team.
- Partner with Marketing to enhance campaigns and drive lead conversions.
- Research potential travel operator, destination management company, and accommodation clients.
- Work with senior Account Executives and managers on pipeline growth and sales strategy.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, and Implementation to support a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- A BA or BS degree is required.
- One to two years of sales experience is required.
- Payments or travel industry experience is highly advantageous.
- Candidates should be proactive, organized, self-motivated, and eager to grow in sales.
- Strong communication and client rapport-building skills are required.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn, and pipeline management tools is preferred but not required.
