About the Opportunity
We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our Food Service & Convenience Field Sales team. Covering the South Sydney, South Coast and Southern Highlands territory , you will grow profitable sales, win new business and build strong customer partnerships across FMCG and foodservice categories.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a diverse territory, work directly with customers and use your commercial insight to uncover new markets, introduce new categories and grow existing accounts.
In this Role
Deliver targeted new business revenue and profitable sales growth.
Prospect for new customers across FMCG and foodservice markets.
Build trusted relationships with customers throughout your territory.
Identify new categories and solutions that increase customer value.
Communicate promotional programs and commercial opportunities.
Manage customer contract pricing and conduct regular reviews.
Use CRM, customer data and BI sales reports to optimise territory coverage.
Partner with Telesales, field sales, branch, purchasing and suppliers to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
What are we looking for?
Sales experience supported by strong customer service capability.
Previous experience in foodservice or convenience markets.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Effective organisation, call-cycle planning and territory management skills.
Confidence interpreting sales data and identifying growth opportunities.
