About the Role
Kinaxis is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive business growth by qualifying leads and generating sales opportunities. You will work closely with Account Executives to prospect and engage with prospective customers through multi-channel outreach.

Responsibilities
- Develop an effective pipeline of sales opportunities through qualification of leads from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting
- Prospect and engage with prospective customers through targeted outreach using phone, email, social media, and networking events
- Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with sales and marketing teams
- Manage and coordinate leads through the qualification process and work with Account Executives to confirm criteria
- Engage with prospects and lead the first sales meeting to understand their pain points and position solutions
- Source new contacts using external data sources such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of proven business to business work experience as a qualified business/market/sales development representative
- Knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes, preferably in a similar industry
- Effective negotiation and persuasion skills
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation skills with ability to influence
- Effective time management and organizational skills with a proactive, goal oriented mindset
- Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, Salesforce, and Eloqua considered an asset
- Valid passport required, ability to travel up to 20%

What we are looking for
