Role Summary
The role supports the Manager across the complete tender and procurement cycle.
The position covers opportunity identification, supplier inquiries, technical and commercial submissions, quotations, and compliant bid submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor new business opportunities, tenders, RFQs, RFPs, and ITTs.
- Review tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, scopes of work, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with the Manager to evaluate opportunities and determine bid priorities.
- Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers and manufacturers based on customer requirements.
- Source suitable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Follow up with suppliers, manufacturers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely responses.
- Review and compare supplier quotations based on price, technical compliance, delivery, payment terms, warranty, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers, quotations, compliance statements, and supporting tender documentation.
- Coordinate with technical, sales, finance, logistics, and management teams during the bidding process.
- Ensure tender submissions are complete, accurate, compliant, and submitted by required deadlines.
- Liaise with customers and contractors regarding clarifications, technical queries, and commercial requirements.
- Support price negotiations and assist in achieving competitive commercial terms.
