About the Role
OMQ Event Management seeks a Business Development Manager to drive expansion and commercial growth by identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and leading the Business Development team.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the business development strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and market direction
- Identify new opportunities within target sectors and convert them into viable business opportunities
- Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and industry platforms to build and strengthen professional relationships
- Propose strategic partnerships with organizations that add meaningful value to OMQ's operations within the events industry
- Oversee the preparation of company presentations, corporate profiles, and commercial proposals
- Coordinate with the Creative and Operations teams to develop tailored solutions for prospective clients
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial partnership discussions in collaboration with the Finance Department
- Conduct market analysis, monitor competitors, and recommend appropriate business development strategies
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Business Development team to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, business expansion metrics, deal outcomes, and recommendations
- Support commercial marketing efforts by collaborating with the Marketing team on promotional and brand awareness campaigns
- Maintain ongoing engagement with strategic clients to ensure long term relationships and high client satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA or master’s in business administration or Commercial Relations preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, and strategic partnerships
- Experience in events or entertainment industry is a strong advantage
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and sales pipeline management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop professional commercial proposals and deliver compelling presentations
- Proficiency in CRM systems, presentation tools, and opportunity analysis
- Fluent in Arabic and professionally proficient in English
