Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will lead and own the commercial pipeline from prospecting to close.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup and tech environments, enjoys experimentation, and is ready to push the limits.

What You’ll Do

  • As our Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Own the pipeline
  • Lead the sales funnel from prospecting to close across SME and enterprise accounts
  • Drive outbound growth
  • Generate new opportunities through calls, WhatsApp, email, meetings, referrals, and field outreach
  • Lead commercial conversations
  • Run strong discovery calls, deliver clear product demos, and move qualified deals forward
  • Own revenue targets
  • Deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets with clear accountability for pipeline quality and conversion
  • Work across teams
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and the founders to strengthen our positioning and improve conversion
  • Bring back market insight
  • Share feedback from operators and decision-makers to help improve the product and go-to-market motion
  • Help build the sales playbook
  • Contribute to repeatable messaging, sales structure, and commercial processes as we scale

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong B2B sales experience
  • You have experience in business development or sales, ideally in SaaS, restaurant tech, delivery platforms, POS, or related sectors
  • Understanding of restaurant delivery economics
  • You understand margins, commissions, offers, ads, operational pain points, and what matters to restaurant operators
  • Track record of hitting targets
  • You’ve consistently delivered against revenue goals and know how to manage pipeline with discipline
  • Strong commercial presence
  • You’re confident in discovery, negotiation, objection handling, and closing
  • Individual contributor mindset
  • You can create momentum, work with urgency, and move things forward without heavy structure
  • Collaborative approach
  • You communicate clearly, work well across teams, and know how to align people around outcomes
