- Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with corporate clients, educational partners, and key stakeholders
- Prospect and qualify leads

- Conduct market research
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Prepare proposals and deliver presentations tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to support client onboarding and ensure service quality

Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within EdTech, education, or technology driven services
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals

- Ability to analyze market trends and client needs
- Comfort working in a fast paced, target oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh and travel as needed

Role Description
- The Business Development Manager will identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with corporate clients, educational partners, and key stakeholders in Riyadh.
- This full time, on site role involves prospecting and qualifying leads, presenting upGrad’s learning solutions, and negotiating commercial terms to meet revenue and growth targets.
- The role includes conducting market research, building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and delivering presentations tailored to client needs.
- The Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to support client onboarding, ensure service quality, and drive long term account growth.
- Regular reporting, forecasting, and participation in industry events and networking activities are integral to the position.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within EdTech, education, or technology driven services.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Ability to analyze market trends and client needs, translate insights into commercial opportunities, and build strategic partnerships.
- Comfort working in a fast paced, target oriented environment with strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and familiarity with the Saudi and Middle East business landscape are highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on site in Riyadh and travel as needed for client meetings, events, and partner engagements.
