Role Description

  • This is a full time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, based in Riyadh with flexibility to work from home for part of the time.
  • The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the events and exhibitions sector, develop and maintain client relationships, and expand Simple Solutions’ presence in the Saudi market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and qualifying leads.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and proposals.
  • Coordinating with design, production, and project management teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Negotiating contracts that align with company objectives.
  • Tracking market trends, attending industry events, maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports.
  • Collaborating with leadership to define and refine growth strategies.
  • Representing the company professionally and upholding brand standards.
  • Contributing to long term client partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Client relationship management capabilities, with experience in account management, stakeholder communication, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of the events, exhibitions, or fitout industry, with familiarity in project workflows involving design, production, and installation.
  • Strategic and analytical skills, including market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross functional teams in multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software used for sales reporting and presentations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within exhibitions, events, interior fitout, or related sectors in the GCC region.
