Job Summary

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and achieving sales targets within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven UAE logistics sales experience and a strong network within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the UAE logistics and freight forwarding market.
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with customers and key decision makers.
  • Promote the company's international freight forwarding and logistics services, including air freight, sea freight, road transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and supply chain solutions.
  • Prepare and present competitive quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with customers while ensuring profitability.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to expand the company's market share.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM systems.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of business development or sales experience in the UAE logistics and freight forwarding industry (Mandatory).
  • Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, land transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and international logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong customer focused approach with the ability to close business opportunities.
  • Valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
