The Role
PAYALLY GLOBAL is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow its presence across the Canadian market.
The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building a pipeline, understanding client businesses, and converting prospects into long-term relationships.
This is a full-time role based in the Greater Toronto Area, with two office days per week in downtown Toronto and remote flexibility for the remainder of the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert Canadian corporate clients and merchants across payments and financial services.
- Generate opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and existing relationships.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through onboarding and activation.
- Understand client payment flows, FX needs, international activity, transaction volumes, and operational challenges.
- Recommend payments, FX, multi-currency, card issuing, acquiring, and other relevant solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Coordinate with AML/KYC, Compliance, onboarding, and Relationship Management teams.
- Build long-term relationships and identify additional product and service opportunities.
- Develop referral-source, strategic-partner, and professional-network relationships.
