About the Role
Desert River Event Rentals seeks an ambitious Business Development Manager to develop new business and grow relationships with existing clients in the UAE events industry. This client-facing role involves meeting event professionals, visiting venues, preparing proposals, and working with the Operations team.

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new and existing clients across the UAE events industry
- Schedule and attend regular client meetings throughout the week
- Identify opportunities with event agencies, corporate clients, hotels, venues, exhibition organisers and production companies
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure bookings
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up opportunities
- Become a trusted point of contact for clients and understand their event requirements
- Work closely with Operations team to ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects
Requirements
- 3–7 years UAE experience in a commercial, client facing role
- Experience in event agencies, event production, exhibition contractors, event rental, AV suppliers, or hospitality/venue event sales
- Proven ability to build client relationships and generate business
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Valid UAE driving licence and own car
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software

Your Responsibilities
- Build relationships with new and existing clients across the UAE events industry
- Schedule and attend regular client meetings throughout the week
- Identify opportunities with event agencies, corporate clients, hotels, venues, exhibition organisers and production companies
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms and secure bookings
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up opportunities
- Become a trusted point of contact for your clients
- Understand their event requirements and recommend suitable rental solutions
- Deliver a professional and responsive customer experience
- Keep CRM records and sales forecasts accurate and up to date
- Work closely with our Operations team to ensure a smooth handover of confirmed projects
Experience & Requirements
- 3–7 years UAE experience in a commercial, client facing role
- Experience in one or more of: Event agencies, Event production companies, Exhibition contractors, Event rental companies, AV suppliers, Hospitality or venue event sales
- A proven ability to build client relationships and generate business
- Excellent spoken and written English
- A valid UAE driving licence and your own car
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software
