Role overview
Business Development Manager – EdTech Sales role based in Hyderabad.
The role focuses on business growth, strategic partnerships, and institutional network expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close business opportunities in education and technology.
- Build relationships with TPOs, principals, and HODs across engineering colleges.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Prepare tailored proposals and presentations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Negotiate terms and finalize contracts.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Travel across states for client meetings and expansion.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, field sales, or institutional sales is required.
- EdTech, training, or technology experience is preferred.
- Strong engineering-college network or ability to establish contacts quickly.
- Market research, relationship management, proposal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet revenue targets and develop go-to-market strategies.
