About the Role

  • STONEHAVEN is a construction consultancy and project management firm delivering services to clients across the Middle East.
  • We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based full time in Dubai, driving new business and strengthening relationships across the region's construction, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
  • This is a senior, client facing role for someone who understands the construction consultancy landscape, has an established network across the UAE and wider GCC, and can convert relationships into long term project pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across construction consultancy and project management services in the UAE and broader Middle East
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, government entities, and other key industry stakeholders
  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy aligned with Stonehaven's growth objectives
  • Lead the end to end bid process, including identifying tenders, preparing proposals, and coordinating with technical teams on pricing and scope
  • Represent Stonehaven at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to raise market visibility and generate leads
  • Track market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity to identify opportunities ahead of the market
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospects, proposals, and won/lost opportunities, reporting regularly to senior leadership
  • Collaborate closely with project management and technical teams to ensure proposals reflect deliverable, realistic scopes
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts in line with company policy and risk appetite

Our Ideal Candidate Would Be

  • 5+ years of business development or commercial experience within construction consultancy, project management, or the wider built environment sector
  • Established network of contacts across developers, contractors, and consultants in the UAE and Middle East
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, tendering processes, and consultancy service delivery
  • Confident communicator able to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders
  • Commercially sharp, target driven, and comfortable owning a revenue pipeline
  • Organized and dependable under deadline pressure, with strong follow through on opportunities
