Company Overview

  • Wood Wizards is a creative studio based in Dubai, specialising in hands on woodworking workshops and creative experiences for children and families.
  • We work with schools, children’s centres, brands, and event organisers to deliver engaging, high quality experiences.

Role Purpose

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of Wood Wizards through strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, and expansion of commercial channels.
  • This is not an operational or teaching role. The focus is purely on growth, partnerships, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to support company growth and revenue targets
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities across relevant sectors
  • Build and maintain long term partnerships with children’s centres, clubs, educational organisations, and community spaces
  • Develop collaborations with event organisers, agencies, and lifestyle brands
  • Approach and secure corporate clients and group bookings
  • Create and expand new sales and partnership channels in the UAE market
  • Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements
  • Represent Wood Wizards at industry events, networking meetings, and business forums
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain pipeline tracking and reporting of business development activities (CRM if applicable)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnerships with operational capabilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales, or commercial roles
  • Experience in events, education, family entertainment, lifestyle, or related industries is a plus
  • Proven ability to generate and close business opportunities
  • Strong network within the UAE market is highly desirable
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and results driven mindset
