Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development professional to lead and expand our presence across the

GCC markets

.

The role will focus on developing and managing distributor partnerships, driving market-entry strategies, and overseeing product registration processes across GCC regulatory authorities.

The ideal candidate will have strong regional market knowledge and an established network of pharmaceutical distributors in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the business development strategy for GCC countries.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable pharmaceutical distributors and partners across the region.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to expand distribution networks and accelerate market entry.
  • Manage and coordinate product registration and regulatory approvals in GCC markets in collaboration with regulatory teams and local partners.
  • Drive commercial negotiations, including distribution agreements, pricing discussions, and partnership contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in the GCC pharmaceutical sector.
  • Work closely with internal teams (regulatory, supply chain, and leadership) to ensure smooth product launches and sustained market growth.
  • Represent the company at international pharma exhibitions, conferences, and distributor meetings.
  • Track and report business development performance, distributor performance, and market expansion initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical business development
  • Strong network of pharmaceutical distributors across the GCC.
  • Proven experience in product registration and regulatory processes in the GCC markets.
  • Good understanding of pharmaceutical export business, distributor management, and international trade.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and market expansion skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with regulatory and operations teams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers or export-focused pharma companies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory authorities and drug registration procedures.
  • Prior experience in market entry and distributor-led growth strategies.
