The Opportunity
EnerMech is looking for a motivated and commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding our presence across key markets.
Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will promote EnerMech's full range of specialist services, develop sales opportunities, and support customers with integrated solutions that add value throughout the asset lifecycle. This role is ideal for a proactive business developer who enjoys building relationships, identifying customer needs and converting opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive sustainable revenue growth.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through to contract award.
- Promote EnerMech's full portfolio of specialist services across multiple business lines.
- Prepare customer engagement plans and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account expansion.
- Support the preparation of commercial proposals, tenders and customer presentations.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
- Maintain regular customer engagement through meetings, site visits and industry events.
- Monitor market activity, competitor developments and customer trends to identify new opportunities.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting and timely reporting through CRM and business reporting systems.
- Negotiate commercial terms in line with company policies and delegated authority.
- Deliver against agreed sales, revenue and profitability targets.
