AMIT GPS & NAVIGATION LLP is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the marine safety and communication market. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities
- Identify new markets, business opportunities, and potential clients within the marine safety and communication market
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and business pitches to prospective clients
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual revenue targets
- Negotiate and close business deals while ensuring profitability
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support lead nurturing and conversions
- Work closely with operations, finance, product, and marketing teams to deliver client requirements
- Communicate client feedback to internal teams for product & service improvements
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions
- Prepare periodic business development reports and forecasts for management review
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field; Master's degree in Business Administration is a plus
- Strong knowledge of marine navigation equipment and integrated bridge systems for commercial vessels, offshore vessels, rigs, and workboats
- Familiarity with radar, ECDIS, GPS/GNSS, AIS, gyro compass, autopilot, echo sounder, speed log, and voyage data recorder (VDR)
- Knowledge of marine internal communication systems for ships, offshore platforms, and rigs
- Experience with PABX/telephone systems, PA/GA systems, talk back systems, sound powered telephones, intercom systems, and alarm monitoring solutions
- Knowledge of marine CCTV systems, thermal cameras, access control, vessel security systems, and automation/integration solutions
- Understanding of VTS architecture, coastal surveillance systems, radar integration, AIS networks, meteorological sensors, and command and control solutions
- Knowledge of PMR communication solutions, including analog and digital radio systems (DMR, TETRA, P25), repeaters, dispatch systems, and marine communication networks
- Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills
- Ability to identify business opportunities and develop strategic accounts
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and project quotations
