Role Overview
Business Development Manager role in the SANWARE sales team.
The role expands market presence and drives sales in home improvement, building materials, and sanitary ware.
The manager reports to the Directors or Managing Director and is accountable for sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Client Engagement
- Attend to clients on the showroom floor.
- Prepare and present quotations and presentations.
- Follow up with clients to close deals.
- Provide technical information to service teams and clients.
Sales Process Management
- Manage material indenting, dispatch scheduling, and after-dispatch service queries.
- Conduct site meetings with clients and architects to ensure project requirements are met.
- Supply pricing and related information to the sales team.
Relationship Building
- Meet potential clients and establish long-lasting relationships.
- Represent the company with comprehensive knowledge of its offerings.
- Research consumer needs and upcoming projects.
- Engage architects and interior designers to bring clients to the showroom.
- Collaborate with builders to promote the brand.
Strategic Collaboration
- Work with accounts, logistics, purchase, warehouse, and sales departments.
- Support smooth operations and customer satisfaction through effective coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBA in Sales and Marketing is required.
- At least 7 years of total experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in home improvement, building materials, sanitary ware, or tiles is required.
- Strong communication, product knowledge, selling, follow-up, networking, rapport-building, and problem-solving skills are required.
- MS Office knowledge is identified as a skill for client engagement.
