Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for selling Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for IT, computer hardware, Apple devices, printers, and networking services in Qatar.
This role is fully sales-driven, focused on securing recurring AMC revenue from corporate and institutional clients.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on knowledge of computers and IT services, strong understanding of AMC pricing in Qatar, existing client connections, and a proven record of closing AMC contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and secure AMC contracts for:
- Apple devices, PCs, laptops, printers
- Networking & IT infrastructure
- Office equipment maintenance
- Generate recurring revenue through monthly or annual AMC billing.
- Prepare AMC proposals, scope of work, pricing, and contract terms.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits across Qatar.
- Coordinate with technical teams for service feasibility and execution.
- Track AMC renewals, upselling opportunities, and add-on services (parts replacement,
- bulk accessories supply).
- Monitor market pricing, competitors, and IT AMC trends in Qatar.
Key Performance Indicators (Kpis)
- Number and value of AMC contracts secured
- Recurring revenue generated from AMCs
- AMC renewals and client retention
- Profitability of AMC deals
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA \ Master’s in Business Administration (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–7 years of AMC sales experience in Qatar (IT / computer / networking
- services).
- Strong understanding of:
- Computer hardware & peripherals
- Apple devices
- Printers & office equipment
- Networking, servers, and structured cabling
- Proven experience in AMC pricing and contract negotiation.
- Existing client network within Qatar corporate / SME market.
- Valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.
- Arabic language is an advantage.
