Role Overview
SPAR is recruiting a French and Arabic speaking Business Development Manager for its UAE offices.
The role reports to the Group COO and focuses on sales growth and market development.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales and implement the annual sales budget.
- Promote new products.
- Analyze product positioning against the market and competition.
- Conduct regular follow-up and customer visits.
Requirements
- Hold a Master in Business Management or a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Have five years of professional experience in the Gulf or Middle East region.
- Have sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience with EPC contractors in MENA is preferred.
- Have a technical background with good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Be fluent in Arabic and English; French is an added advantage.
Travel Requirements
- The role requires extensive travel, approximately 50% of the time, mainly across Gulf territories with extensive travel to Saudi Arabia and additional international destinations.
- Travel may support sales meetings and exhibitions across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and other listed markets.
