Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Revenue Growth: Own the full business development cycle for MASIN's advisory services across the Middle East — from lead generation and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Sales Funnel Management: Build and manage a structured, well-instrumented sales pipeline, tracking opportunities at every stage of the funnel and applying a data-driven approach to prioritize efforts and improve conversion.
- Proposal Development: Bring an analytical mindset to structuring and writing compelling, commercially sound proposals tailored to complex client needs, working closely with technical and legal delivery teams.
- Institutional & Client Relationships: Build and manage relationships with clients, law firms, contractors, developers, and multilateral agencies across the region to generate a consistent pipeline of consulting engagements.
- New Business & Partnerships: Identify and structure new revenue streams, partnerships, and market expansion opportunities across the GCC and wider Middle East.
- Market Presence: Represent MASIN at industry forums, conferences, and client meetings across the region; build the firm's visibility and credibility in the Dubai/Middle East market.
- Negotiation & Deal Closure: Lead commercial negotiations with senior client stakeholders, balancing MASIN's positioning with client requirements to close engagements efficiently.
- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments across the construction, infrastructure, and dispute resolution space in the region to inform strategy, using data to support recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with technical and legal delivery teams to shape proposals and scope engagements that reflect client needs and MASIN's expertise.
- Team Building: Build and mentor a business development team in Dubai as the function scales.
Requirements
- Enterprise/SaaS Sales Background: Proven experience selling SaaS, enterprise, or other complex, high-value B2B/consulting solutions to enterprise, institutional, or government clients is mandatory.
- Sales Funnel Expertise: Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales funnel — from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closure — with a track record of managing pipelines against targets.
- Analytical & Proposal Skills: Demonstrated analytical mindset, with hands-on experience developing and presenting commercial proposals to senior stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Approach: Comfortable using data and metrics (pipeline conversion, deal velocity, win rates, etc.) to guide sales strategy and decision-making.
- Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience presenting to and negotiating with senior leadership, boards, or industry forums.
- Experience: 9+ years in business development or client-facing advisory/enterprise sales roles.
- Sector Exposure (preferred): Direct experience selling into or engaging with contractors, developers, law firms, government bodies, or multilateral agencies, ideally within the Middle East market.
