About WMD

  • WMD is a Dubai based digital marketing agency with deep roots in hospitality and tourism, now expanding into new verticals.
  • This role is for building the BD function from scratch, not inheriting an existing team or pipeline.

What You'll Own

  • Identify and pursue new digital advertising clients across verticals beyond hospitality and tourism (real estate, retail, F&B, healthcare, finance, etc.).
  • Sell WMD's full service suite: Paid media, Programmatic, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, SEO, and social media management.
  • Build and manage a pipeline from cold outreach through to signed contract.
  • Develop WMD's sales process, pitch materials, and vertical specific positioning.
  • Represent WMD at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure smooth client onboarding and set clear expectations.
  • Hire, onboard, and manage junior BD team members as the function scales.
  • Report on pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts to leadership.

Must haves

  • 2–3 years minimum in a business development, sales, or account growth role — digital agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of selling digital marketing services: paid media, SEO, social media management, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of how paid advertising works (Meta, Google, TikTok) — you don't need to run campaigns, but sell them credibly.
  • Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing B2B deals.
  • Familiarity with the UAE/GCC market and how business gets done here.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills — you can walk into a room and own it.
  • Comfort with ambiguity — you'll be building structure, not following it.
