Role Overview
The Business Development Executive II is responsible for prospecting and closing net-new large-market accounts generating approximately CAD 750,000 to CAD 1 million in annual revenue.
The role leads the sales process from prospecting through customer partnership implementation and onboarding.
Prospecting and Strategy
- Identify target accounts using available tools and resources.
- Drive lead management and prospecting activity.
- Lead Staples RFP responses for large-market opportunities.
- Develop presentations, proposals, and sales strategies.
Customer Engagement
- Meet with customers throughout the sales funnel.
- Provide industry insights and develop an in-depth understanding of customer buying processes.
- Position Staples as the preferred solution for target-account decision-makers and influencers.
Administration and Collaboration
- Maintain customer meeting notes, contacts, next actions, and activity in the CRM.
- Engage internal teams to develop leads and manage the funnel effectively.
