Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in the metals industry
- Execute targeted sales strategy for new accounts and expand within existing clients
- Lead generation and appointment setting through cold calling, networking, and industry research
- Develop and implement a strategic annual sales plan
- Manage and update HubSpot CRM with accurate tracking of prospects and sales activities
- Prepare proposals and deliver high impact sales presentations
- Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred
- 2 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on heavy manufacturing (steel and aluminum mills experience a plus)
- Strong understanding of the metals industry and industrial supply chain
- Proven business development professional with a focus on generating new sales
- Goal driven self starter with a passion for closing deals
- Strong hunter mentality with networking and relationship building skills
- Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
