Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive new business within the industrial metals sector, selling industrial tags, labels, and packaging solutions
  • Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities while ensuring continued satisfaction
  • Meet and exceed gross margin and sales targets through effective new account acquisition and project development
  • Foster growth in existing accounts

  • Proven business development professional with focus on generating new sales in metals industry

  • Strong hunter mentality with networking and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrates confidence in working with executives and decision makers
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to exceed sales goals
  • Tech savvy, leveraging CRM platforms like HubSpot
  • Detail oriented and organized, able to multitask and meet deadlines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities in metals industry
  • Execute targeted sales strategy for new accounts while leveraging existing relationships
  • Lead generation and appointment setting through cold calling, networking, and industry research
  • Develop and implement strategic annual sales plan
  • Manage and update HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with GO2 leadership to expedite sales closures
  • Prepare proposals and deliver high impact sales presentations
  • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred
  • 2 3 years of experience in sales, with focus on heavy manufacturing (steel and aluminum mills experience a plus)
  • Strong understanding of metals industry and industrial supply chain
  • Proficient in CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
