Role Overview
Bin Yousef Cargo is hiring an experienced Business Development Executive based in Qatar.
The role focuses on freight-forwarding sales, customer growth, service support, and revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Secure new customers and maintain and develop existing accounts.
- Meet and exceed departmental revenue targets.
- Conduct and report sales leads set by management and convert leads into revenue-generating business.
- Maintain records of customer details and sales visits.
- Identify potential customers, register opportunities, and pursue them through to revenue realization.
- Visit existing accounts to validate service levels and develop new revenue streams.
- Negotiate with accounts according to price guidelines while maximizing profits.
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Support Customer Service and Operations with customer service contract execution.
- Promote services and products and coordinate sales efforts with other departments.
- Participate in business development through market information and sales meetings.
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding payments with Finance Controller support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
