Role Overview
Business Development Executive role supporting power and energy business activities across the UAE and GCC markets.
The role requires relevant industry exposure, strong client communication, and the ability to identify, develop, and follow up on opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and follow up on business opportunities across the UAE and GCC.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, utilities, and industry partners.
- Track upcoming projects, tenders, and relevant market information.
- Support client meetings, presentations, and business proposals.
- Assist with prequalification, vendor registration, and tender activities.
- Coordinate with technical and commercial teams on potential projects.
- Maintain regular follow-up on business leads and client activities.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, key account management, or a similar client-facing role.
- Experience in power, electrical, renewable energy, EPC, or related sectors.
- Good communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
- Professional English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- UAE/GCC market exposure is preferred.
- Exposure to utilities, developers, EPC contractors, or engineering consultants is advantageous.
- Experience with solar PV, BESS, substations, transmission and distribution, or other power projects is advantageous.
- Existing contacts within the UAE power and energy market are advantageous.
- Experience with tenders, prequalification, or vendor registration is advantageous.
- Mandarin Chinese or Arabic language skills are advantageous.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
