Power Planet Solar is hiring a Solar Sales Executive / Business Development Executive for its rooftop solar business in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The role takes potential customers from initial enquiry through solution recommendation, quotation coordination, follow-up, and final closure.
This is a field-oriented sales role involving customer meetings, site visits, and new business development.
Lead generation and business development
- Generate residential and commercial solar leads through digital marketing, referrals, and other channels.
- Follow up with leads and identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Customer meetings and solution selling
- Understand customer electricity consumption, requirements, budget, and decision-making process.
- Conduct customer meetings and rooftop or site visits, and analyze electricity bills.
- Explain system capacity, generation, savings, ROI, payback, subsidies, net metering, and financing options.
- Present suitable solar solutions and coordinate commercial proposals with the technical team.
