Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for pump solutions, drives, and air compressors across key sectors
- Conduct market research, qualify prospects, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and support sales presentations
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to design suitable solutions
- Respond to customer inquiries and ensure timely follow up on leads and quotations
- Maintain relationships with existing clients, track sales performance, and provide feedback to management on market trends and competitive activity

- Effective Communication and Sales skills
- Solid Analytical Skills
- Relevant engineering background (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) and experience with pumps, compressors, or industrial equipment is highly beneficial

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong written and spoken English; Arabic or other regional languages are an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; prior business development or technical sales experience in the Middle East is preferred

Role Description
- The Business Development Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- This position focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities for pump solutions, drives, and air compressors across key sectors in the region.
- Day to day responsibilities include conducting market research, qualifying prospects, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting sales presentations to customers.
- The role involves collaborating with engineering and technical teams to design suitable solutions, responding to customer inquiries, and ensuring timely follow up on leads and quotations.
- The Business Development Engineer will also maintain relationships with existing clients, track sales performance, and provide feedback to management on market trends and competitive activity.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Development and New Business Development skills to identify opportunities and grow the customer base.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Sales skills to present solutions, negotiate terms, and build long term client relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret market data, evaluate customer requirements, and support solution design and pricing.
