Business Development Engineer

Abu Dhabi and Dubai · Full-time · Reports to the Client Experience Manager

Cornerstone Middle East tests building facades: field water penetration tests, laboratory mock-ups andremediation supervision for the region's most demanding projects.

We are hiring the engineer who will take that capability to market.

You will find facade contractors, consultants and main contractors who need testing, qualify their projects, and carry them from first conversation to signed purchase order.

Half the job is opening new doors; the other half is growing the accounts we already serve.

WHAT YOU WILL DO?

• Build and work a live pipeline of facade projects across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with a weekly rhythm of client meetings and site visits.
• Read drawing packages and specifications, identify the test regime the consultant will require, and brief our Client Solutions team so every proposal reflects real site conditions.
• Quote from our rate card, negotiate scope and schedule, and close.
• Own our existing facade accounts and capture repeat and adjacent work before it goes to market.
• Represent Cornerstone at Windows Doors & Facades, Big 5 and facade industry events.
• Keep Zoho CRM as the single source of truth for every lead, meeting and proposal.

WHAT YOU BRING?

• An engineering degree (civil, mechanical or similar) and real facade knowledge.
• Three to five years of UAE construction industry experience, preferably in façades, curtain wall, glazing, aluminium, building envelope, sealants, waterproofing, building products, testing/ inspection or another technically related field.
• A strong existing network among UAE facade contractors and consultants.
• A valid UAE driving licence and your own vehicle. This is a site-heavy role.
• A go-getter attitude: you open doors, follow through, and want to be measured on results.
• Fluent English; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
