- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in logistics, customs clearance, and cargo services
- Build strong relationships with clients, shipping lines, suppliers, and international partners (especially China & GCC)
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and market share
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and commercial offers
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth cargo handling and customer satisfaction
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in Dubai & Jebel Ali
- Maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and follow up regularly
- Represent West Golden Cargo in meetings, exhibitions, and business events
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in Business Development within logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance
- Strong network in the UAE logistics market (shipping lines, importers, exporters, traders)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver results
- Strong understanding of Dubai Customs, Jebel Ali operations, and shipping processes

Job Summary
- We are looking for a highly driven Business Development Director with strong experience in logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and cargo operations.
- The candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base, developing new business opportunities, and building long term partnerships in UAE and international markets (China, GCC, Asia).
Key Responsibilities
