Role Description
The Business Development Director develops business strategies, expands markets, builds strategic partnerships, acquires key clients, and drives revenue growth.
The role leads business development activities, manages major relationships, identifies new opportunities, and supports long-term commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies and growth plans.
- Identify new markets, clients, partnerships, and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations, proposals, tenders, contracts, and commercial agreements.
- Monitor sales pipelines, revenue targets, forecasts, and business performance.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitor research.
- Develop business cases, commercial proposals, and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, operations, and management teams.
- Explore strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and market expansion opportunities.
- Prepare business development reports, forecasts, and management updates.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Lead and develop business development teams to achieve growth targets.
