Avaloq seeks a mid-level Business Application Software Engineer to innovate and maintain core products in the Credit Core Team.

The role involves collaborating with tech leads, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver client-oriented solutions.

The position is based in Edinburgh, Scotland, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Innovate and maintain core products in the Credit Core Team.
Collaborate with tech leads, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver client-oriented solutions.
Implement new business functionality on the appropriate software layer and add automated tests.
Oversee component ownership for core banking components, as well as ABR/S software components.
Work as part of a skilled team in an Agile environment to maintain functionality within the team’s area of expertise.
Write solution designs for new developments and review them alongside technical leads and architects.
Participate in client workshops and support business analysts in requirements analysis.

University degree in Computer Science / Engineering / Mathematics or equivalent.
Proven track record working in a software development team.
