Role overview
Amazon Supply Chain is seeking a hands-on Business Analyst to manage capacity operations for the MEA-TR region.
The role works across multiple teams and locations and requires business understanding, SQL capability, and comfort with ambiguity.
Key job responsibilities
- Perform data analysis by writing ETL queries in SQL and Datanet platforms.
- Use MS Excel and aggregate data from multiple sources to support effective decision-making.
- Analyze business problems, understand root causes, and identify forward-looking opportunities.
- Design new metrics and enhance existing metrics to support sustainable business processes.
- Understand tools and processes and drive seller adoption.
- Communicate complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders verbally and in writing.
Basic qualifications
- At least 2 years of data analytics or automation experience.
- Knowledge of data mining using SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Moderate or advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel.
- Experience working directly with business teams to use metrics and analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in supply chain or operations.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to own and follow through on issues.
