Position overview
The employer is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager for a 10-month contract with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta.
The position is available as hybrid, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Charter, governance structures, and project management plans in line with company IT standards.
- Perform business analysis, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, data analysis, user stories, and business specifications.
- Oversee solution design, build, and implementation against functional and non-functional requirements.
- Coordinate resources, onboarding, internal team members, and external vendors.
- Maintain the Master Project Schedule, milestones, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Manage organizational change, stakeholder expectations, communications, risks, and issues.
- Define QA strategies, oversee testing and UAT, manage defects, and support solution quality before production.
- Lead project closure, post-implementation reviews, sign-offs, and closeout documentation.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
