Role Overview
Verisk is seeking a Business Analyst and Product Support Specialist for its Canada product team.
The role connects end users, clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams while supporting product improvements.
Business Analysis
- Develop and document requirements, use cases, test cases, matrices, and implementation approaches.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and assist developers with solution design.
- Facilitate technical discussions with developers and data analysts.
- Work with large and complex data files.
- Maintain user, FAQ, manual, and technical documentation.
- Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing for new features and bug fixes.
Product Support
- Act as a tier 2 or tier 3 escalation point for complex technical, functional, and workflow issues.
- Investigate, reproduce, and diagnose product bugs, data discrepancies, and system errors.
- Manage support tickets through resolution with clear and timely user communication.
- Maintain internal knowledge bases and support documentation.
- Provide onboarding, training, and walkthroughs for new feature rollouts.
- Analyze support trends, user feedback, and usage metrics to identify product improvements.
