Role Overview
The Business Analyst and Product Support Specialist joins the Verisk Canada product team.
The hybrid role connects end users, clients, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
The position combines business analysis, technical troubleshooting, product support, and customer feedback analysis.
Business Analysis and Requirements
- Develop requirements, use cases, test cases, matrices, and approaches for product changes.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and assist developers with solution design.
- Facilitate discussions with developers and data analysts and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with complex data files and support product research and development.
- Create and update user documentation, FAQs, manuals, knowledge bases, and technical documentation.
- Provide reporting to management and support other company projects.
Agile and Testing
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Assist in user acceptance testing to validate features and bug fixes against business requirements.
