About the Role
The Town of Okotoks seeks a Business Analyst for a 24-month term to support departmental applications, digital services, and process improvements within the Assessment & Building Business Centre.

Responsibilities
- Support the electronic permitting experience for Building & Assessment, and Planning & Development by assisting with troubleshooting, testing, documentation, training, and user support
- Work with staff to identify workflow challenges, system enhancement opportunities, and process improvements
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for business centre applications, digital services, and process changes
- Support the testing, implementation, and adoption of system changes, enhancements, and new business processes
- Provide operational support for business centre applications, including issue investigation, user inquiries, and coordination of resolutions
- Develop and maintain procedures, training materials, job aids, and other resources
- Support data integrity, accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and continuous improvement within business centre processes
Requirements
- Completion of a diploma program in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, Business Analyst or related field
- 3 or more years related work experience representing continuous learning and career progression
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Project or similar tools
- Workflow mapping, software and programs experience
- Strong analytical skills for requirements and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi tasking, priority setting, and customer service focus
- Municipal Experience is considered an asset

What you Bring
