Key Responsibilities

  • Support the electronic permitting experience for Building & Assessment, and Planning & Development by assisting with troubleshooting, testing, documentation, training, and user support.
  • Work with staff to identify workflow challenges, system enhancement opportunities, and process improvements that strengthen service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for business centre applications, digital services, and process changes.
  • Support the testing, implementation, and adoption of system changes, enhancements, and new business processes.
  • Provide operational support for business centre applications, including issue investigation, user inquiries, and coordination of resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, training materials, job aids, and other resources to support consistent and effective system use.
  • Support data integrity, accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and continuous improvement within business centre processes.

What you Bring

  • Completion of a diploma program in Business Technology Management, Information Systems, Business Analyst or related field.
  • 3 or more years related work experience representing continuous learning and career progression.
  • Municipal Experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially MS Project or similar tools.
  • Workflow mapping, software and programs experience, design, develop, map, implement efficient processes.
  • Strong analytical skills for requirements and problem solving; ability to propose innovative, workable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong multi tasking, priority setting, and customer service focus.
