Role Description
The Business Analyst role at Red Oak Technologies Inc. is a contract, on-site position based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area.
Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders across network, device, and software solution teams.
The Business Analyst will map and optimize business processes, translate functional needs into clear specifications, and support the alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
The role involves conducting data-driven analysis, preparing reports and presentations, facilitating communication between business and engineering teams, and contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and systems.
The individual will collaborate closely with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet defined success criteria.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ability to understand, model, and improve business processes within technical and operational environments.
- Clear and professional communication skills for engaging stakeholders, creating documentation, and presenting findings.
- Proficiency in defining and managing business requirements for technology, network, or software-related projects.
- Experience with wireless networks, telecom, or technology services is an asset.
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms for analysis and reporting is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
