Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Loan Origination System (LOS) initiatives
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and use cases
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze current lending processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams
- Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT sessions
- Support system integration efforts involving LOS, underwriting, credit bureaus, document management, CRM, and core banking systems
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production validation
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal lending policies
- Assist with change management, documentation, and end user training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in Banking or Financial Services
- 3+ years of hands on experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Strong understanding of end to end loan origination lifecycle
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, workflow diagrams, and process documentation
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, and SQL for data validation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
