Business Analyst III

Stakeholder and Governance

• Partner with supply chain, finance, data owners, data stewards, subject-matter experts, IT teams, and leadership.
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, issue resolution, and stakeholder updates.
• Establish data-quality requirements, exception-management processes, remediation workflows, and master-data accountability.

Testing and Adoption

• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate business or UAT validation of engineering deliverables.
• Validate datasets and data products before release and monitor adoption, data quality, and business outcomes after implementation.

Must-Have Skills and Experience

• Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, reconciliation, exception identification, and data-quality analysis.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, pipelines, transformations, data models, warehouses or lakehouses, mappings, and data-quality frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Databricks and ability to understand PySpark notebooks or code.
• Demonstrated product owner or Agile experience managing backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
• Strong stakeholder communication and requirement-management skills across technical and business groups.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Azure data engineering.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, ERP, master data, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Relevant cloud data engineering certifications and basic machine learning or generative AI knowledge.
