Key responsibilities
- Work with insurance business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements.
- Analyze P&C insurance processes covering policies, claims, billing, underwriting, and rating.
- Translate requirements into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Guidewire developers, solution architects, QA teams, and product owners.
- Document Guidewire configuration and product capabilities.
- Identify gaps between standard Guidewire functionality and business requirements and recommend solutions.
- Create process flows, business rules, use cases, and functional specifications.
- Support Guidewire integration requirements with external systems.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and Agile ceremonies.
- Review test scenarios, support SIT and UAT, and help resolve functional issues.
- Perform change impact analysis and support production issue root-cause investigations.
Role requirements
- Understanding of Guidewire configuration and product capabilities.
- Knowledge of P&C insurance processes, including policy, claims, billing, underwriting, and rating workflows.
- Ability to produce functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, use cases, and specifications.
- Understanding of system integrations and experience supporting Agile delivery, SIT, and UAT.
- Ability to collaborate with business and technical delivery teams.
