About the Role

Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between Finance Team and IT Department for system enhancements, reporting needs, and project initiatives
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to finance processes, systems, and reporting
- Support and maintain the QAD ERP system, including troubleshooting, user support, and system optimization
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support financial reporting, forecasting, and decision making
- Conduct data analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
- Identify opportunities to improve finance related processes, reduce inefficiencies, and automate workflows
- Collaborate with ERP and Infrastructure teams to develop integrations, data pipelines, and reporting solutions
- Assist in finance system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations by coordinating testing, training, and documentation
- Translate financial and operational business needs into technical specifications for development and reporting
- Provide training and support to finance users on systems, tools, and reporting best practices
Requirements
- College Diploma or University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Finance or Accounting teams
- Hands on experience with ERP systems (QAD highly preferred)
- Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and financial reports
- Strong understanding of financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in Power BI including data modeling, DAX expressions, and report development
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis
- Understanding of data integrations and ETL concepts
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is an advantage
- Familiarity with Azure Data Warehouse or other cloud based data systems is a plus

Certifications (Preferred)
- Power BI Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate)
- Business Analysis Certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or PMI PBA)
- Finance or Accounting Certification (CPA designation or in progress) is a plus.
