About the Role
Providence Health Care seeks a Business Analyst to support the Meditech Expanse HIM system. You will collect business requirements, analyze workflows, and support testing and implementation.

Responsibilities
- Collect and translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Assist with detailed test plans and testing
- Prepare documentation such as Business Requirements, Business Rules, workflow diagrams
- Communicate business directives to project and technical teams
- Compile and analyze information sources to provide recommendations on standardizing workflows
- Consult with integrated systems to ensure product awareness and identify gaps
- Build effective relationships within the Advance Program, HIIT, and other key resources
- Perform post implementation and quality improvement reviews
- Document workflows and results of process analysis
- Facilitate internal working groups and prepare reports and presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years recent related experience in health informatics, business analysis, or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
- Highly competent in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Understanding of systems analysis and design, related tools and techniques
- Knowledge of hospital operations and health care administration requirements
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Summary
- This position supports the Advance Meditech Systems Application Support team.
- The Business Analyst liaises with operations and technical teams to understand structures, policies, and workflows.
