Role Overview
Business Analyst role focused on legal, risk, compliance, governance, and business continuity functions in the financial sector.
The position is based in Doha, Qatar and is onsite.
Workplace
- The role is onsite in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops with risk, compliance, legal, governance, and business continuity stakeholders.
- Document current-state processes and gap analysis.
- Author functional requirements covering RCSA, risk and control libraries, KRIs, compliance obligations, policy lifecycle, incident management, and BCM.
- Design approval workflows, escalation matrices, and role-based access.
- Support data migration mapping and validation, UAT test development and execution, and end-user training.
- Align documented processes with applicable legal and regulatory requirements and recognized standards.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on exposure to at least two of operational risk, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, legal or regulatory affairs, and BCM.
- Working knowledge of ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ISO 22301, and Basel operational risk concepts.
- Strong facilitation, requirements traceability, and documentation skills.
- Fluent English.
- Based onsite in Doha and able to complete background screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Arabic language skills.
- CBAP, IRM or ICA qualifications, CRISC, or ISO lead implementer or auditor credentials.
- GRC platform implementation exposure and GCC experience.
