Phu Bia Mining Limited is a Lao-registered company, 90 per cent owned by PanAust, an Australian-headquartered copper and gold mining company, with the Government of Laos owning the remaining 10 per cent. Phu Bia Mining owns and operates two award winning operations – Phu Kham Copper-Gold and Ban Houayxai Gold-Silver, both located in Xaisomboun Province, 120km north of Vientiane.

Site-based employees work a roster of 20 days on, 8 days off; 9 days on, 5 days off; or 14 days on, 7 days off for shift work, while Vientiane – based employees work 5 days per week with 2 days off.
Reporting to the Finance Superintendent, The Business Analyst supports the Finance team by providing financial analysis, cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and month-end accounting support. This role works closely with operational and finance stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information, support decision-making, and drive continuous business improvement across the operation.

Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, management accounting, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems will be highly regarded.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good written and spoken English; Mandarin language skills will be an advantage.
