Lead the development and implementation of energy conservation standards, protocols, and best practices for healthcare buildings
Serve as a senior technical authority for HVAC, mechanical, and building automation system optimization
Review, refine, and approve control strategies and sequences of operation to maximize energy efficiency and system performance
Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC, mechanical, and BAS issues using historical and real-time performance data
Provide technical leadership for commissioning, retro-commissioning, and measurement & verification efforts
Collaborate with field engineering teams, controls specialists, client managers, and facilities leadership to drive performance improvements
Support capital planning, system upgrades, and ROI analysis for client energy initiatives
Prepare and present technical assessments, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to internal leadership and clients
Mentor and train engineers, energy specialists, and technical staff on HVAC systems, controls, and energy optimization strategies
Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders
Anticipated travel: 5–8%
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural, Electrical or Energy Engineering or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in HVAC engineering, building HVAC systems, energy conservation, or related engineering disciplines
