- Be the technical authority – Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, internal teams, and leadership on complex mechanical and building systems challenges.
- Lead the development and implementation of energy conservation standards, protocols, and best practices for healthcare buildings
- Serve as a senior technical authority for HVAC, mechanical, and building automation system optimization
- Review, refine, and approve control strategies and sequences of operation to maximize energy efficiency and system performance
- Diagnose and resolve complex HVAC, mechanical, and BAS issues using historical and real-time performance data
- Provide technical leadership for commissioning, retro-commissioning, and measurement & verification efforts
- Collaborate with field engineering teams, controls specialists, client managers, and facilities leadership to drive performance improvements
- Support capital planning, system upgrades, and ROI analysis for client energy initiatives
- Prepare and present technical assessments, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to internal leadership and clients
- Mentor and train engineers, energy specialists, and technical staff on HVAC systems, controls, and energy optimization strategies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, safety requirements, and industry standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory stakeholders
- Anticipated travel: 5–8%
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural, Electrical or Energy Engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC engineering, building HVAC systems, energy conservation, or related engineering disciplines
